Southern Africa Physics Network (SAPhysNet)
The Southern Africa Physics Network (SAPhysNet) aims to strengthen human capital development and research capacity in Physics across Southern Africa. It serves as a collaborative platform to advance the role of physics in addressing developmental challenges across the region, including SADC.

SAPhysNet will soon launch the SADC Physics Survey as part of the White Paper on Physics in SADC. We invite students, researchers, academics, educators, and industry professionals across the region to contribute their experiences and perspectives. Your input will help shape recommendations for the future of physics education, research, collaboration, and innovation across Southern Africa.

Countries with Members in the Network
SAPhysNet is currently hosted by the South African Institute of Physics (SAIP), which provides administrative and logistical support to the Network. Notwithstanding this hosting arrangement, SAPhysNet operates as an independent Network, with its own governance structure and decision-making processes.
